Coach Strategies

On the strategy page of each team I have a question regarding the use coach strategies option. Does enabling that option use the strategies that you set below such as Perimeter Focus offense, Attack defense, etc or does disabling that option use the strategies below in place of what the head coach would naturally choose to run? Thanks!

Enabling the option will use what the head coach wants to do as opposed to what you set

Ok. I just want to make sure I am getting this correctly. This is set on default to on for everyone. Is there a way to see what type of offense and defense the head coach runs or is it what is listed directly below? Sorry this seems like a simple thing that I am confused on.
