Scouting Emails

I'm wondering how scouting emails throughout the year help scout the draft? By the time the draft comes around, those emails have been automatically deleted. Does that information get incorporated into their scouting info? If not, is there a way to keep the scouting emails through the draft?

There is an in game notepad you can make notes to yourself in and you do get additional information on players built in
