3 point percent by era

Hi all

I was wondering whether anyone has any good tips for adjusting the 3 point percentage by historical era?

I want to do a series of games based on different eras and therefore want the 3 point game to reflect the time as accurately as possible.

Any tips and suggestions gratefully received

So far for the 1985 season I have set it at 10% and it seems to be working well with about 3-7 3 point attempts per game

I was about to say that maybe lower the % in the game options by half and work from there.

Or as a rule of thumb, you search basketball-reference for specific season average and compare it to 2019 and maybe we could come up with a list to reflect specific basketball era.

Yeah that's what I have been doing. 85 season I went 10% and that seemed to do it and I'm just going to use basketball reference for a point and assess from there
