Rookies better than current players

I just wanted to issue a concern when using historical rosters starting at a mid point and then simming forward with draft classes that the rookies appear to be far better than the starting pool of players. For example, Deron Williams is a 10 PAS 7 HDL immediately upon being draft which makes him the top pass first point guard in the entire league (ahead of Nash and Kidd) right out of the gate. Even more concerning is when a player like Ronnie Turiaf is a better rebounder and defender than Ben Wallace in his prime. David Lee is also far better than Chris Bosh. There are countless examples with late first rounders being immediate starters for every team.
