Bad Personality Players

I avoid these players like the plague. They are typically good for 1 year before the bottom falls out and they become a big problem to team chemistry.

Was wondering if this is by design that their meter goes all the way down to zero and there isn't a way to improve the situation. Or am I missing something in the strategy here?
Does the AI know how to properly handle such personalities?
