A Young GM - Walter Snethen

We also need a coaching staff as we have no one on board.

(This is one thing with the game that I have not been able to get yet. How is it, there is a head coach
that wants one million for 3-years. I offer 9-million dollars and I can not land him as my head coach?

If anyone has some insight to how I can better hire head coaches, I would appreciate it.

so I turn on and let the AI hire my coaches. I spent an hour trying to hire the coaches I wanted and I
could not get it done. I do take it that they did not want to work for my organization but when you
spend an hour and can not get even one coach, i feel like I wasted an hour.

So if anyone has an insight in what I can do better, that would help. Thank you in advance.)

We now have a coaching staff moving forward and they don't look too bad. Only had 6-million to
spend and we came in under that. I was trying to hire ONE coach for 9-million. I would have broken
the bank.

Come on Free Agents!!!!!

We make our first big splash in Free Agency as we find our SG. We looked a lot but since the team
needs a few players I did not break the bank like I wanted too.

San Antonio Spurs have signed Free Agent SG-Justin Jenkins for 4-years for 91+-million.

He is a 3-star player...inside 86, outside 72, free throw 83 and steals 93. He can rebound
a little and handles the ball pretty well and is 65-smart.

22+million left.

Then we sign a Strong Forward. We do have 30-year old Jimmy Riggs and he will now be a backup as we have signed
SF-Eric Williams out of Virginia Tech. 26-years old with 7-years of experience in the NBA. We sign him for 4-years for
37+million. Brooklyn was trying to sign him but for only 2-years so he jumped on our 4-year offer.

Looks like we now have our starters. Young at the point guard position, Rookie Young, strong at shooting guard and
center. Strong forward will probably be our weakness but I think Eric Williams can hold his own.

I have not talked about our Power Forward Kurt DeClercq. The Spurs traded for DeClercq last year sending Toronto
their first round draft pick for him. I think we have a pretty solid team once we get our C-Bob Scholl going.
I hope he is not injury prone. Still have to pick up a couple of players for depth as the scouts have their eyes open.

We do not have a very good beginning to the new season. We begin 1-9.

PG-Willie Mosley..15.1 ppg
PF-Joe Smith......12.1 ppg

SG-Justin Jenkins..11.1 ppg

The starting 5 are all in to double digits.

Our second ten games were much better than our first ten as we go 7-3.

We also made a trade. We had a huge problem as two players on our team
got into more than a shoving match. Two players threw punches, one being
PF-Kurt DeClercq and backup PG-Morrie Everett. Everett is 30-years old and
what info we received Morrie did not start the problem it was with our young
PF-DeClercq. He was a starter last year and became a backup since I took over
the team. He was getting pretty upset as the season rolled a long and then when
DeClercq went to the media with some bad things about our coach it was time
for him to move on. I think he has a chance to become a good player and I was
hoping it was going to be with the Spurs but it did not happen. We had to remove
the cancer
PF-Kurt DeClercq, 3rd team C-Kyle Sims and 2-3-team SG-Luis Greer was sent to
Orlando for C-Deon Berry (3rd team) and Backup SG-Troy Hampton. Hampton played
with us in New York and I really like him but Orlando go to him before I could so we
traded for him.
After the trade we won the next two in a row.

Southwest Standings
Houston.........14-6........0
Dallas............11-8........2.5
New Orleans....11-8.......2.5
SPURS...........8-11........6
Memphis........7-11........6.5

C-Bob Scholl............21.4 ppg
PG-Willie Mosley.......16.4 ppg
PF-Joe Smith............13.8 ppg
SG-Justin Jenkins......10.5 ppg
SF-Rob McConnell.......9.1 ppg

Our next 10 games we go 6-4 and we are now 14-16. Trying to get to .500. We are 13-7 in our last 20 games.

C-Bob Scholl...…….19.7 ppg
PG-Willie Mosley...14.4 ppg
PF-Joe Smith...…..14.0 ppg
SG-Justin Jenkins..11.4 ppg
SF-Rob McConnell..8.9 ppg
C-Alex Gayden.....8.5 ppg (Our coach has inserted him into a starting roll at PF)
SF-Eric Williams...8.3 ppg

Our coach has been using some different starting lineups and right now I am letting him run the ball
here recently. If we begin to lose a few I will be adding my two-cents worth with the offense and defense.
We are still last in the Southwest but I am hoping things are beginning to turn around.

We had another good week as we went 6-4 and we are finally at .500 at 20-20. We still sit last but we are making headway.
Standings...………………………………………
Dallas...….….23-17.....-
New Orleans 24-18.....-
Houston......24-19....0.5
Memphis.....21-19....2
Spurs.........20-20....3

Points Per Game
C-Bob Scholl........18.9
PG-Willie Mosley...14.1
PF-Joe Smith.......13.6
SG-Justin Jenkins..12.1
SF-Eric Williams....10.2
PF/C-Alex Gayden...9.0

This is quickly becoming Willie Mosley's team and he is just a rookie. Still needing Jenkins to step
up and Bob Scholl PPG is on a downward trend. Need him to turn things around. But, he IS a team
leader. Still need to keep winning to get out of the basement.
