Here is Jonathan Buss's brief press conference at the end of the regular season.

"We were hoping for the best this year. Several players jumped on board with our thinking
of trying to show that the collection of younger players could get the job done. If you take
notice of points per game for our team it is almost even. We did not count on one player or
two, we played as a team. That is what we have been preaching since the beginning of the
season. Now we take on the Portland Trailblazers who finished 5 games better than we did.
We are looking forward to the challenge and it should be a good series."

Here is Jonathan Buss' Press Conference a couple of hours before the playoff's begin for the Lakers.

"We are looking forward to the playoffs begin tonight. At the first of the season, not many people thought
we stood a chance to even sniff the playoffs. We had a Free Agent signing or two that has helped in the
process. Our coaching staff lead by our head coach Brian Knight (who had no coaching experience coming
in to taking the job with the Lakers) have done a good job in getting us here. We have had many meetings
during the season and I wanted Coach Knight and his staff to run things as they saw fit. There was little
direction from me during the season. Our team took off and never looked back. We take on a tough Trailblazers
team tonight that has experience where we do not. But, we are looking forward to the challenge. Coach
Knight asked me if we ought to change things up tonight? I told him, use what methods brought you to the dance.
I hope you enjoy the series and we can talk when the series is over. Thank you."

Here we go...….

Game One: https://gyazo.com/f9ebd85a8597c3e27428a492e2730004
C-Julius Randle took a nasty fall and will be out a few games with a concussion.

Game Two: https://gyazo.com/82ca62563ea6b804ce48bfc76697d5ed
PG-Lonzo Ball was lights out the first game but back to his no hitting FG ways
for this game. We are sinking. No depth is hurting.

Game Three: https://gyazo.com/024a6336ddb74da0819eafbfe4b8e9db
Larry Nance Jr. had a game. First Playoff win for GM-Jonathan Buss. It
does come at an expense...Brandon Ingram and KCP both go down. 4-days
for Ingram and 13-days for KCP.

Game Four: https://gyazo.com/6078780c1d7a6c97c8b53f85ee2f7845
With no big men able to play other than Bogut (and he didn't play much)
it is hard to be a playoff caliber team.

Game Five: https://gyazo.com/7b34363df6c7adf7f71d84f476a7f6ee
How about C.J. McCollum hitting for 50-points for Portland. Ingram
got in both games 4 and 5 but was still hurt and just could not give us much.

We got a win, but now we need to build on depth and most everyone is coming
back so we might need to move a few people. Just can't get anyone to take
Bogut's 7-million contract.

Here's to a good off-season. We did sign the coaches right before the playoffs began.
They did such a good job they were extended.

The season got off to a quick start as we went 4-0 and things were looking good. Then
the wheels fell off as we lost our last 4 games. GM-Jonathan Buss started looking at
Free Agents to see if anything was available. Then we won our next 2 on the road against
teams not doing very well. After the first 10 games we sit 6-4.
