Here are our next ten games...………………………………………..

W Lakers 104 Boston 101....Kawhi Leonard 21 points
L Lakers 105 Washington 121...Julius Randle 18 points
W Lakers 124 Milwaukee 115....Jordan Clarkson 23 points
W Lakers 127 Phoenix 104....Brandon Ingram 31 points
L Philadelphia 112 Lakers 95....Kyle Kuzma & Julius Randle 19 points
W Phoenix 101 Lakers 113....Lonzo Ball 24 points
W Denver 103 Lakers 121.....Kyle Kuzma 25 points
W Chicago 96 Lakers 112.....Kentavious Caldwell-Pope 22 points
L Lakers 97 Sacramento 107....Jordan Clarkson 18 points
W Lakers 128 LA Clippers 100....Julius Randle 19 points.

Jonathan Buss - We are now 14-6 on the season. I am feeling pretty good about this team so far.
Our offense is basically to spread it around as you can tell about the top scorer each night is usually
someone else. Spread it around and most of the time we have 6 to 7 players in double figures.
Our defense has been pretty good as a whole but we need to tighten it up a little. The coaches
have done well in play calling and the players have done pretty well implementing plays. So far
we have not had any injuries which is key and I am sure will have some as the season continues.
Fingers crossed.

L...Golden State 118...Lakers 108...Larry Nance Jr. 21 points. Brandon Ingram was hurt early
and Nance Jr. came in and lead the team in points. Steph Curry had 42 and Kevin Durant 27.
L...Lakers 113...Denver 133....Kentavious Caldwell-Pope 30 points.
W...Houston 126...Lakers 143....Kyle Kuzma 6-11 on 3's for 35 points. Lonzo Ball 20 points and 12 assists.
Julius Randle was 7-8 on 2's and 12 boards. Harden had 34 and Paul 33 for Houston. We beat a good team.
W...Lakers 90...Philadelphia 78...Kyle Kuzma 15 points. this was an ugly game after a great game against
Houston. Lakers shot 36% and Phila. shot 37%. UGLY
L...Lakers 104....Charlotte 105...Brandon Ingram 22....Should have won this one but again played bad.
L...Lakers 113...N.Y. Knicks 124.....Kyle Kuzma, Julius Randle & Kawhi Leonard each had 24 points. Still lost.
W...Lakers 122....Cleveland 112....Julius Randle 24 points and Lonzo Ball 23 points. LeBron James had 47 points,
12 Rebounds and 12 Assists for Cleveland.
W...Golden State 110....Lakers 118....Julius Randle 26 points. We finally beat them.
W...Lakers 115...Houston 103.....Jordan Clarkson 19 points. Andrew Bogut played 28 minutes (usually gets 12)
had 16 points and 14 Rebounds. Randle only played 10 minutes in this one.
L...Lakers 107.....Golden State 122......Lonzo Ball & Kyle Kuzma each had 17 points. Really wanted this one.

Jonathan Buss - Only went 5-5 against some really good teams. Charlotte only team in this 10 that had a losing
record and we lost to them on the road. We did beat Golden State at home and Houston twice. Happy about that.
Coach Knight has the team spread the ball around a lot on offense with a balanced offense and playes everyone
straight up. We did change it up a bit this past 10 games as we played a more post-offense against Cleveland, Houston
and Golden State. After losing to them at home we begin to change things up a bit. also against Houston and Golden
State we attacked on defense to put more pressure against their really good guards. We are 19-11.

I am going to be changing things up a bit.....instead of posting every 10 games or so I will be moving at a faster
pace. My life got a little complicated and I have not been on-line much. But, I want to continue what I have started.
With that......Here is what things look like at the All-Star Break.

Now trending on social media tonight after the All-Star Game the media caught up to
LA Lakers G.M. Jonathan Buss. The question was asked of Mr. Buss...Q: The Lakers are
having a season that I don't think no one saw coming as the Lakers decided to stay with
their young core. Why did the Lakers not make a move before the trade deadline?
Jonathan's answer was kind of what we expected. "When I took over this team I believed
in the young core of the Lakers and I want to build this team through the draft". "Of course,
if there is a trade that makes sense to the Lakers we will make a move. We looked at a
couple of moves but there was just not anything out their that we liked. We have four
draft picks in the next draft and that is about all the other teams wanted to trade for.
We also looked at moving some contracts but could not find a partner for trading. So, at
this time there was just not anything out there that we liked. Now we are going to concentrate
on making the playoffs and going as far as we can."

It will be interesting if the Lakers make a move before the draft or if they will keep those
four draft picks. We will have to wait till the season is over.
