Can auto-subs be toned down?

Can auto-subs be toned down?

I can't stand how when playing in-game, the CPU decides when your backups come in. I'll be up 38-0 going into the second half and the CPU will decide it's a good idea for my backups to come in. So while my starting QB is thrashing the other team, he gets taken out w/ 275 yards while I have to watch my backup QB go 2 for 14 and my offense only scores 7 points in the second half.

I want to have full control over who comes in and who doesn't. If I want to keep running up the score against a bottom feeder team like elite teams do in real life, I should be able to. If I want my starter to keep playing in a blowout, I should be able to keep playing him. I'm tired of the CPU always dictating these things for me when my starters will play the entire game when simming the game.
