Can we have a lock or a check next to the players name so if we decide to try to get the coaches input on depth, it won't affect my starters or backups that I already decided on? I hope that makes sense.

This would be a nice addition. Bowl Bound has that capability and I like using it. Select your starting QB, RB, etc, lock them in and let the AI fill in the rest.

Not really... we use pre-access period to add in some last minute larger features. After official release, patches tend to be fixes for crashes only. There are times when we can add in smallish updates to patches while we're fixing other items, but the above request wouldn't be something quick and easy to add.
