Motion In Play Design Not Working

I have been trying to design some plays using motion, but when I run the plays during games, the players do not move, and the routes intended to be run from a particular position on the field (the end point of the motion) end up getting run from the player's normal position in the formation. This does not produce the play I am trying to create.

Does motion just not work?

And while I am here, when designing a play on defense, the chalkboard does not update with any of the assignments, so it an be hard to see how things are interacting. Is that a known issue?

I've noticed this as well while experimenting with motion in running plays. It might be simulated but just not displayed in the play viewer but I'm not sure.

The motion should be working, but works more like a teleport of their start position that won't show up in the play replay. The defense not showing play designs is a known issue that we'll look to fix in CF21.

Thanks Brooks! I thought that might be the case. Is there any work being done on the 2d viewer? In-game play is my biggest draw for the game, would love to see this get some more love.
