Increase Recruiting Budget?

It seems like each season I am getting less and less recruiting points. Why is that? I see the correlation to scouting points from my staff salaries... but where is recruiting points

Recruiting points are tied to numbers of scholarships and players leaving early... you also get bumps for prestige, etc.

I grew 8 prestige in two years and I have 27 scholarships available but I have 80 points less than last year (136 total)

I just played another season... I now have 31 scholarships available and only 137 points. 71 prestige.... am I doing something wrong?

Any answers? Please this is coming close to ruining the game for me. I can't recruit 31 players in 137 pts.

are you cutting a bunch of players?

I wouldn't say a lot. I do cut some, and I have a few transfer each year

It gives you a small portion back for kids getting cut or leaving early, so if you cut too many each year you're not going to get the full allotment for that number of scholarships. I suggest redshirting some kids so you're recruiting more like 15-20 each year instead of 30+. At higher prestige levels you'll get more points and spread them around a bit more for larger classes.
