I’m downloading DDSCB 2020 via Steam. It almost never shows the time remaining, but when it does it rapidly increases from a day to over a year in less than a minute. What is going on here?

Most likely more related to Steam (or possibly internet connection) versus specifically the college basketball game. At times Steam slows down or experiences unexpected issues, have seen it many times but usually corrects itself with time, restarting Steam, and/or rebooting computer.
