I have posted an update today to the game to fix an issue that people are having after updating Windows 10 to version 2004. To see a Windows update cause a problem like this was a surprise to say the least but I believe this update will address it (one is available for PB20 as well). In doing this I also had to change the slider speeds a little and I think that you will find if you do not have that Windows update installed the speed might be a little faster than before but you do have the slider to turn it down on the screen to find a setting you like.

This also caused me to have to make a change in the "fast speed". Pushing the slider all the way to the right will no longer result in the game moving ahead super quickly. Instead now you will see a fast forward button (>>) on the screen. This will allow the game to move ahead quickly without any of the on screen action taking place and replaces you having to change the sim speed slider.

Gary, the action in 2D is still too slow even after the update. Suggestions

Unfortunately the game play when playing out the game is still very slow. Any suggestions to help speed it up?

a new update has been posted so give 8.18 a try and see if that looks better

Can you post the instructions on how to update the latest version?

I clicked on the link in the OP, downloaded the .exe file, when it was completed, I clicked to open the game and it didn't open. So I opened the game manually and the updated version is not shown on the menu screen.

The other owner in the league double-clicked the application file and it asked for an update... I tried the same thing and it didn't work....

A response would be greatly appreciated.

I just hoped somebody knew how to update the game.

Possibly try re-downloading the update and re-installing that downloaded file.

Maybe you didn't get a clean download the first time.
