Am I in sandbox or challenge mode?

I'm managing South Tulsa, a 25 prestige team in the low ranked Middle States Conference.

Four seasons went really well and I managed to improve team prestige. However, I'm really struggling in the 5th, after my star center from the original roster has graduated. I will be way off the goals.

Since I'm starting to worry about sacking, is there a way to tell if I'm in sandbox or challenge? I have 100% security and a 5 year contract, if that means anything.

I'm playing out every game and even taking notes so I have invested much more time in the game than what the numbers tell. I'm also frustrated about my players being far from their potential ratings, don't know if it's because of my poor coaching staff or something else.

If you haven't been meeting goals and are at 100% still you might be in sandbox mode. The way you will know for sure is when the job hiring phase comes around - if all of the teams are available for head coach for you then you are in sandbox mode
