Pipelines

I did a quick forum search and only found one thread from 2018. Rather than engage in questionably thread necromancy, I thought I'd start a new one. I have questions about recruiting pipelines. In my first game, I developed one into my school's home state almost immediately. In 50-ish seasons since over 4 different games, I've yet to create another one. What are the criteria to create one? Also, I would assume that the pipeline belongs to the coach, not the school. Do pipelines follow my coach to new gigs?

VtR - hope you don't mind me asking how you establish a pipeline? Is it a passive thing once you've recruited large numbers from a particular state, or is there something I need to activate somehow?

Nothing for you to activate...it's supposed to happen when you've recruited so many (I'm not sure how many during what time frame) from a specific state.

It still works but I havent seen it often in any of my careers either. In my current game I coached for about 10 years at DePaul and recruited heavily in Chicago with good success. Then I moved to Cincy and I now have a pipeline to Illinois which is nice. I just wonder if I had moved somewhere in the west much farther away I would have kept it as well. Then it would be really nice since proximity usually limits your recruiting to your region at lower prestige schools. Coaching at one of lesser PAC 10 schools with a pipeline to Illinois would make it fun.

I haven't had a pipleline since the last update. I suspect it's broken, but I can't confirm since I don't know the logic.
