Player Ratings Question

Player Ratings Question

Postby LaStarza » Thu Jul 02, 2020 8:35 pm

I just recently purchased the game and updated to the most current version (8.14). I notice when I look at any roster other than my own, all of the players on every team are shown as having a half-star overall rating. Is this the way it's supposed to be? Is this some kind of fog of war thing?

Thanks!

Hoping that someone can reply to my question so that I can proceed. I don't want to start a game if it's not working properly.

Thanks in advance!

If you proceed to the next date that should change. If not, there's definitely a problem.

Actually that is correct. You only see your team ratings when you start. You will not see any other team player ratings correctly until your coaches scout that team and then you will see that teams player ratings valued as your coaches see them. So it is normal at the start to have all other team with 1/2 star. Once you see scouting reports show up in your email then you should see the ratings correctly for that team. This will not happen until November in your association.

I misread the post. NCAAHoops is right. I check the other teams' stats once the season starts. That gives me some pretty good info.

Thanks for the replies! Just wanted to be sure there wasn't a problem before I start a serious career... and now I know everything's good to go!

Thanks again!

Is there some way of controlling/prioritizing which skills develop first? e.g., if i want my center tot work on his free throw shooting more than his rebounding

The skills you have a player work on are limited to those that are available when calling the player.
