AI Conference Schedules

I've recently started a career with the initial setup where all teams of a certain strength/prestige rating are grouped together in conferences.

I decided to play Kansas and try my luck in the top (A) power conference...16 teams with 15 conference games against the best in the nation.

Expecting to find a schedule where Kansas would play each of the other 15 teams...I was disappointed that is not the case.

The schedule shows I play three teams twice...and three teams I never play.

WHY? Will this be the case going forward in the years to come? Will I play the exact same schedule year-after-year?

If this is the case...can it be changed/fixed?

I believe the conference schedules are set the same way each season. I have added a suggestion to the CB2021 Suggestion List that within the Promotion/Relegation option that the conference schedules set so that each team plays every other team with their conference.
