New playbook layout during games is confusing

I am playing my first game in this new 2021 version and I quickly notice something not very good about the play layout. The plays seem to be organized according to a series of drop downs from the top right hand side of the screen. This is good enough, but if you show the name of the playbook, and I go to change the formation via the bottom or 4th drop down box, don;t show formations not in the playbook selected in the 2nd drop down. In other words, I went to change the formation, chose Pro Set, but then there were no plays bc there are no Pro Set plays in the playbook selected. In this case, dont even offer Pro Set as an option. Instead, only display the appropriate formations which are in the current playbook. If I change the playbook via the 2nd drop down box, and now im in a playbook with Pro Set, go ahead and give Pro Set as an option only now in the bottom 4th drop down "Play" menu.
