I've played OOTP baseball for several years. Is this similar? What's the best way to get started?

It is not at OOTP level yet. I say that not to be critical but because this sport is more difficult to simulate. It's getting close but in my opinion needs a few more iterations to get all the way there. The best way to get started depends on you knowledge of the sport. What football simulations have you played before this one?
