Pressing Sim Conference Champ. also Sims the Overall Final?

Single Player - career mode game

I made it to the playoffs with my current team and we are in the AFC/NFC Championships.
My team is in the AFC.
I start the Conference Championship week by simming and then watching the NFC game.
Then I play the AFC final with my team and win, advancing to the Super Bowl.

Scores for both games are populated in the weekly schedule page.
The super bowl entry is not there yet.

At the top of the page, there is a button saying "Sim Conference Championship"

Both games have already been simmed but I figure that this is the way to push the game forward to schedule the Super Bowl.

The problem is that pressing that button will generate the entry for the Super Bowl and will also quicksim it.

There doesn't seem to be a way for the player to slow play the Super Bowl with his own team without quicksimming it.

Even for players who do wish to quicksim the final, it seems awkward this way. Injury recovery hasn't stepped forward yet either and that could have an impact on the depth charts that the two teams want to use for the final. There needs to be a pause between the Conf. FInals and the overall final.

Do you have hide scores on? It is supposed to wait for the scores to be viewed before updating the championship game. I'll have to try and set up a scenario where I can replicate this as it feels like some of the end week logic isn't firing in your case.

Hi Brooks. No. Hide scores is turned off.

The next time I get there (IF I get there with the Dolphins), I'll play my game first and sim the other conference final via the button up on top last to see if the order makes a difference. That way there will be an unplayed game remaining when I request the sim.

That will be closer to the way I do things during the season.

I have a save file that I can send over if this is a difficult scenario to set up.
