QB rushing still a problem as far as I can see. Ill keep simming to see if the AI can fix itself but first seasons are totally off in terms of numbers... alot of negative yardage for the notable QBs.

Seems a smidge better tbh, the main QBs are getting positive yardage which is alot better than seeing them with -200 etc

Still probably a little low, for example Lamar led the QB charts with 379, Mahomes and Newton hit around 300... Wilson not far off.

So at least teams are getting that production from them which will help. If anything, its more that they are not getting in the attempts. It looks like YPC is on point, just a little shy on the attempts.

Thanks for tweaking this, definitely helps immersion.

Could this just be the play styles of the teams? It would be a great addition to the game if there was a mod for real coaches and their play styles. AI teams probably don’t have the likes of Jackson set to run enough.

Isn't there a coach's attribute that specifies whether they prefer mobile or dropback QBs? If a coach prefers mobile QBs they would favor drafting and starting the running QBs, and they would call more designed QB running plays correct?

Has anyone found a way to fix this? I have all QBs set with the Running QB flag on their profile page and QB Tuck and Run set to often for all strategies, and the QBs just aren't getting rushing stats.

The main driver is the playcalling and playbooks... the AI coaches should be detecting their starters as runners and bumping up the number of times QB running plays are called. I've seen the AI/CPU teams get QB rushers to 800+ yards in a season.

Okay so you HAVE to have designed QB runs in your selected playbooks to make the AI QBs run?

Yea, the complaint was that coaches were running their non-running QB's, so to fix we remove the QB runs from the default playbooks and the coaches add them in if they detect they have a running QB. Otherwise the run plays included are mostly RB/FB run with only the occasional QB sneak, etc.

If you've set up custom playbooks and don't have QB runs in them then no, your QB won't run very much at all.
