I don’t think they mean literally auto stopped. I think they just mean guys get tackled/caught from behind right at the one yard line. While they may be wrong, it feels like the game is coded in such a way to have guys caught at the one to avoid too many big play TDs maybe. Or others have mentioned that the ball carrier seems to slow down way too much like he’s carrying a 20 lb football. Not sure if maybe endurance could be an issue for the ball carrier slowing down too much.

Yea, the endurance stuff was tweaked in the patch which could be why I'm not seeing the same issue you are. But again, it had nothing specific to do with the one yard line... it just has increased effect the farther the players go or the more tired they get.
