How to sign free agent?

I have confirmed I have the newest version 5.03 and trying to pay a new league. No option I can find to sign a free agent on the free agency screen.
Also - - when you start a league and name your league then want to save - do you have to name the save also ? The game appears to save the game if you do not as you can reload it- but when you do - it defaults to day 1 again. Help ?

When you are in the offseason (like when you very first start the league) it starts in free agency. So you have to click advance to get to day 1 of free agency. And it'll take you to the screen to sign free agents.

Once you are in season you use the sign free agents on upper toolbar to sign them.

Thanks - the issue is that on the free agent screen I have no option to make an offer or sign a free agent ? I checked to make sure CPU is not in charge of the team and it is not.

When you click on the row of the free agent list the submit offer should show on the right.

Nope - am not seeing that option - it was there in first access - but not now

I think I figured it out - clicking does not work - but click and drag opens up the offer screen.

I just started a new league with today's update and the FA worked fine for me. Couple of things...once you click on the FA icon (handshake icon at the very upper right part of the screen), it takes a while for the screen to change to FA screen. When it does, there should be a button at the upper left that says "bid on free agents" or something like that. Click on that button...it will take a while for the player list to populate but then you should be able to make offers.

If you do bid on FA and next day it shows no offers, those players got signed by another team. There is another button at the upper left that says transactions....click on that and it will show who signed with what teams.

If these things aren't showing up at all, I don't know what to say other than maybe try reinstalling.
