Playing Games and Ratings

Postby tim2339 » Thu Oct 08, 2020 9:08 am

I could be missing something obvious here but is there a way to make my HC or coordinators call plays when I watch the games. I ain't paying them 4 million year each to sit out and have a cup of tea while call bad plays!

Also just a thought with player ratings for realism sake, is there possibly a way to put a player between two ratings so there is still an element of suprise. we all know Aaron Donald is beast - if his rating fluctuated between 85-99 I think that would be more real than when he is rocking up at 71 rated and I'm having to trade him for K'lavon Chaisson who somehow is better than Donald and both Bosa brothers in his rookie season. Joey at 64 rated nearly made my cry (and actually made me re start the game! Lol)

In strategy you set whether the HC or OC/DC will call plays. When you "play game" then you're calling the plays, but it actually defaults the play to what the CPU would have picked. If you just want to watch the game, you are watching a replay of calls already made by your coaches.

For the rosters, the game uses set numbers and then randomizes it a bit so that every time you start the game the ratings are a bit different. There are modders working on updated rosters that you'd be able to create games with if you wanted to tinker with ratings, or adjust certain players that don't seem to come out right.
