Why are the players ratings different every time i do a creation draft. For example Miiles Garret will be overall a 84 in one draft, and another draft he will be overall a 72?

They are randomized within a range everytime you boot the game.

I drafted Miles Garret for example with just an overall rating of 72, and he got me only 3 sacks all season. He obviously isn't a 72, and realistically wouldn't get only 3 sacks in a season. Makes no sense to me. Why are they randomized? Definitely don't like that at all!

if the performance of an imaginary player named Myles Garrett is important to you just edit him in sandbox mode.

Its got to be fixed. Who wants to go and change all the ratings to what they should be. Great game otherwise, but that just makes no sense to me.

Dude, the game isnt an NFL simulator, its a Football simulator/strategy game. the NFL does a great job simming itself. Plus this game isnt even licensed so I dont know why people expect that kinda thing. Ever notice the base team names?

The 2020 version didn't have this ratings fluctuation problem, nor did 2019.

the 2020 version didnt have fake versions of NFL players without a mod or name pack either. the randomized values are super important for preventing team building drafts from all being virtually identical.

Part of the intent, I believe, is to randomize the game so that it doesn't become predictable. It actually improves replayability because the ratings vary requiring the GM to have to do some homework.
