Player Potential

Hey friends, im using the demo version just to try before buy, and i want to know a quick thing, how the game calculates the future of a player? Like their potential.

I dont see on the players editable screen anything related to potential, so always the 'best young player' will be good in future?

there is a potential rating, but it is not visibla or editable.

However, their mental ratings, (and some traits) and personality are also very important for how much they will progress over a career.

thx for the answer, but theres a thing for the future, edit potential would be very nice
