Defensive players stopping all over the field

Okay, now THIS is bizarre. And this is very bad.
It looks like the game is completely broken. Watching this game just now, there have been 5 touchdowns of 50 yards or more in the first half. They have all occurred bc the defense is all out of place and most of the players are stopping and not pursuing at all. It's been a very ugly, broken thing to watch. What is going on?! 339 total yards for one team, 232 for the other. One QB is averaging 19 yards per pass, one RB averaging 18.4 yards per rush. And not in a glorious way, in a glitchy way...

Ok something is def broken I just simmed a game, and it was 60 - 55 with 768 yards of offense vs 544

Did you adjust the yardage sliders for pass or run plays?
I'm not seeing anything like this in 5.05 and I run a slew of custom plays.

I'd like to point out that the defense ratings are all bad. so that might be something to this.

How so? Curious about what you are seeing and if It is something a global edit could fix with one or more specfic categories.

Guys this happened after the recent update. Can someone pls help the game is complete broken. No special plays. I also noticed this seemed to happen after I added the wishbone play stuff to the League XML mod section. Removed it and this is still happening...
GOOD NEWS I IDENTIFIED SOURCE OF DEFECT -
I was right, it was the Wishbone XML I added to the League Options -> Advanced Settings -> Custom plays XML. As soon as I added just one play here, which seems to have been added correctly as now I see that one play as an option in playbook customization, the next game the scoring and stats were through the roof..
