Long time lurker but first time poster. Got the early access of DDSPF21 but everytime I found something I'd come to the forum and someone had already posted on it.

Was playing the game today and noticed some confusion around fumble statistics so wanted to see if I was mis-interpreting something or if this post becomes a "Suggested Enhancement" post.

But there seems to be come discrepancy/confusion with the fumble stats for a player. I traded for a running back in my game and he invariably had some fumbles. When I go and look at his Career Stats on his player screen, it says he had 1 fumble for rushing and 3 fumbles receiving.

Wanting to compare him with the other players on my roster, I then went to the Team Stats page and it showed 3 Fumbles and 1 Fumble Lost for him under Rushing. I then switched to Receiving and it showed the same numbers there.

My initial thought was that the Rushing/Receiving tables under Team Stats were showing his season totals in this valueso I did a CSV dump and noticed there isn't any separation of statistics between rushing and receiving fumbles but his Fumbles count did total 3 and his FumblesLost totalled 1 which aligned in with the Team Stats table.

So I'm curious how the game is deriving the 4 total fumbles split between the rushing and receiving stats in the player's career stats.

We only have one tracking stat for fumbles, so whether they fumbled on a rush or pass it's the same stat. So viewing fumbles on receiving stats and rushing stats should be the same number.
