FG logic - too many punts from inside opp. 40YL

I'm seeing a lot of plays and playcalls like this one.

7:12 3rd and 23 Car - 43 Pass by Foles, N., complete to Kmet, C. for 11 yds. Tackle by Thompson, S.. CHI 10 - CAR 7
6:20 4th and 12 Car - 32 Punt by O'Donnell, P. of 32 yards. Touchback. CHI 10 - CAR 7

Chicago worked the ball to Carolina's 32 yard line and had a long 4th down.
Punt instead of FG try. Weather/Wind were ideal.
Chicago's kicker has Distance=86 and Accuracy=74.
A 49 yarder shouldn't be a problem.

AIs should probably pretty much never punt from inside the 40. The payoff is too low.
I get the Punt calls on my team as well and I usually override them for FGs and I've pretty much hit all of them.

I'm guessing it's because the accuracy and distance were lower than expected. I know the code does do FG evaluations and should be kicking inside 50 yards in most cases, but could be there is still a calculation off somewhere.

No worries! The feel of the matches is much better this year BTW. I've been watching some good games.
A little later in the game, they did kick the FG from around the same spot. It doesn't happen all the time.
