General Comments and Dumb Questions

First off, really enjoying '21. I just have a couple minor comments and two questions.

Comments: often times when you hover over a player's name his "short card" (mini graphic/summary) will open. That's cool. But, then it stays open and the only way to close it is to go to another player. I find it pops up too fast (just moving mouse over it activates it even if I don't want it to open) then is annoying to close. Also, as I switch between screens, the delay seems longer than in 20. It's not bad, it's just slower it seems. I doubt anything can be done about that.

One thing I do find a bit more frustrating is that I can't see (unless I am looking in the wrong area) a list of my players, all their skills and their salaries. I find I have to jump between two screens when trying to make cap decisions and it would be nice to see (like '20 does) my full roster, all skill scores and then salary at the end of the row.

Questions:
1. what is mentoring and is there a subforum on its impact and how to best use it?

2. In Strategy I am trying to create a new gameplan but it doesn't seem to let me. I have all the options selected on that page, then hit create new game plan and it doesn't do anything. It just changes the viewing game plan title by adding a number to it. Then on available game plans (clicking on the drop down arrow) there is nothing showing for available game plans. I know this is something simple, but I can't recall what it is. Can anyone help?

I knew they were dumb comments/comments. I see the latest update (5.0.8) fixed both the player pop up card issue and salary being on the same screen as skill scores. Ignore those two points, you guys rock!

Still having issues with creating a new game plan though and curious about mentoring.

I may not be understanding the game plan question so forgive me if what I say doesn't make sense. When you go to the game plan screen it gives you options to use your coaches game plans. You can't change any of the options with the drop down arrows. When you click on create new game plan all those options become available. You can change offensive focus..game tempo etc.

All good, and thanks for trying to help! I can't seem to even do anything other than hit the button "create new game plan" and then it looks like it created one but when I go to activate a new game plan there is nothing there. I am following the same process i use in DDSPF '20, it's just not working in'21. It's hard to explain, although its an easy concept ! lol

Had some others in my league with the same issue, we think it might be because we are in pre -season still.

I am in 2 leagues in '21 (CFA and WWPF) and in CFA I can create a new game plan easy, just like in '20. But, when logged in in WWPF '21 I can't do it. Very weird, stumped. Probably stupid user error, I'm not incredibly bright! lol.

But, still can't figure out what I am doing wrong.

Any ideas anyone?

Sorry, forgot to add, we are not in pre-season any more so that's not it either.

I have submitted a help ticket. Anyone else at all have this problem?

It's caused by duplicate game plans throwing an error. I have a fix in for it for a future patch.
