I really want to buy but I have a simple question

1. I prefer to play as General Manager, can I sign a Head Coach and just do the GM type stuff instead? Like can I sim games or do they need to be played out?

2. Financials, how deep do they go on this game? Can I see attendances for each game and income/outgoings?

Yes, you can put it on sandbox and just sim games if you wish.

Financials are mostly just contracts and caps to simulate player movement, free agency, etc. There are settings you can use to set your cap and min/max contract settings so you can adjust to whatever model or era you're looking for, but there is not anything like attendance or team income/concessions/etc.

If you play with default settings, your coaches are doing the depth charts and game plans.

I'm playing as GM in my current league and I can't affect too much of the game time decisions. I can alter the depth charts because I turned that option on but I can't touch playbooks or game plans.
I'm not an expert but I think the game does exactly what the original poster wants it to do.

I think this game is exactly what you are looking for. I don't simulate very much but I can see how this game would be a game come true for people that do.

Regarding the attendences. I've noticed on the Basketball game it tracks them with the capacity % also and on the college football it has something like 'bandwagon' and 'fan support' is this game totally void of this?

Thanks, the more I look the more likely it seems I'll end up buying, the only thing is the price compared to the threads raised highlighting issues on here is putting me off. I'm watching some rebuild youtube series to help me decide.
