Hello. What exactly does the player skills rating for each player represent?

Skills are basically how good they're getting at the position. The higher the number the better they'll perform... and with lower skills they'll struggle in some situations. It's basically our way of combining skills with attributes for switching positions or playing multiple positions. Even if you're strong enough to play lineman, or fast enough to play WR or CB, it doesn't mean you'll be good at it until you've gone through a couple of seasons of training.

That's what I figured but just wanted to make sure.
