Adjust packages option - what does it do?

When play calling I see this option Adjust packages but I don't know what does it do ? I'm clicking on it but nothing happens...

I'm not able to recreate this issue. I am able to click on the adjust packages button and it brings up a depth chart screen to change on the fly. Anyone else seeing this issue?
