Trades

I seem to be able to trade any player for whatever I want as long as it doesn't violate the cap. I can trade my lowest rated player for 3 1st round picks. Have I done something wrong? I can't find a setting for trades, but the AI doesn't seem to be working.

Trade AI doesn't kick in unless you're in career mode.
