Playoff homefield

1- Does homefield advantage play a part in the game...it seems like it does.
2- If so, is there any method to step in as commish and rearrange playoff game venues?
Finished my first season of '21...
In the NFC div winners were Green Bay(#1 seed) NY Giants (#2 seed),
Tampa Bay, SF...wildcards New Orleans Washington and Dallas.
Homefield won 2 of the three NFC first round games, with the exception being a Dallas win over TB. In the next round the division champion 10-6 Giants had to go on the road to face the wildcard 9-7 Dallas Cowboys, who defeated them 24-17 in a tightly contested game that might have been different based on my 1 season of observation, had it been in New York where it should have been.
