Are there certain rules preventing certain players (that have the mentor light bulb) from mentoring a younger player? Or is something broken in the latest update?

For some players, I'm having no problems setting them up:

But for others (and for some reason, they're all defensive players for me), I simply cannot assign them someone to mentor. No matter what I do, the assignment will not show up, and it does nothing.

I've never run into this issue before until now.

Correct. It is working for some mentors, not others. Clicking the assign mentor button simply does nothing on the affected mentors. I can't find any pattern for what's causing it. Doesn't seem to matter who you assign them to or what they're teaching. Certain mentors just seem to be broken.

I noticed the same issue. The problem seems to be with players who decided they can't mentor someone, and then when you try to assign them to someone else.

As far as I can tell this happens when you're not logged into that team.

we're definitely all logged into our teams...

we can assign some mentors, not all

I see the same thing. It is very frustrating. I thought I isolated the problem with my post above, but am not sure.
