As the teams themselves in real life are still far from finalizing their rosters, those types of mods do not usually come out until enough is known from playing conditons, etc. (ie. is that 2nd round pick going to be a stud or a bust?) so usually won't have a grasp of ratings until at the very very soonest, early pre-season games, and realistically until perhaps the start of the season...a lot of work can be done beforehand but it would usually be foolish to put in all of the work involved, base our ratings off of "expected before being tested" then have a bunch of people asking why that guy with 80 caches was rated only 67 hands, or why the 1st round draft pick with a real life 15 sacks we only rated an 80 DE, etc.
