Posting news in an online league

Anyone know how to add linebreaks to user-submitted news in an online league?

with no joy (obviously just using a carriage return does nothing.)

I think its parsed in a way to prevent code injection. It used to be that </br> and </b> would work but cannot remember if we changed it - maybe test those.
