Here is a link to a realworld mod for the game which provides updated information (i.e. real names, logos, etc.) that helps enhance the experience. Once the FIRST ACCESS game is released later today, feel free to download and use if you like. The link also provides all necessary instructions how to use.

I thought I had a problem, because I was trying to load the roster as a custom roster file, but it seems to be working fine if you just use the default - offseason start.

Yes the custom roster file would mean you created a database roster of your own to use

Correct, my mod does not include any rosters.....you can use default
