Should the clock reset to 5:00 if I make a trade and acquire the pick from the team on the clock?
I made a trade and the clock keep ticking down.

I'll admit I am not 100% sure about NBA rules, but if it is similar to NFL rules, I always thought the time is allotted for the pick itself, not the team making the pick. Therefore using an example....for a pick in the draft, there is a set amount of time for that pick to happen regardless if the original team is making the pick or another team based on trade...therefore no reset.

Of course I could be wrong:)

The time does not reset (although you can always pause it and give yourself as much time as you want)
