Shot clock expires

Shot clock expires

Postby markprior22 » Fri Nov 06, 2020 1:54 pm

Played several games and haven't seen an expired shot clock yet. Has anyone else seen this called?

As an aside, it seems like players don't dribble out the clock when ahead at the end of the game. They always take a last second shot. Would be nice to see them just dribble out the clock.

you're right on the not dribbling out at the end of a win, I will try to add that - there are shot clock violations but they're rare

Violations do happen though. I've seen more than a couple of games where a team with a big lead at game's end will dribble out the 24 second clock late and turn the ball over rather than shooting before the clock expires.
