EDIT: Solved. The problem was that I did not have the 2015 Microsoft Visual C++ installed. I had 2013 and 2017 installed, but not 2015. Took a little hassle to get it installed, but once 2015 was in the game started perfectly.

I just bought and downloaded the game, so it's a fresh install that's never been run. When I run the game, I get two error messages that I've linked to in this post. I haven't installed any mods, and the game is installed in the default location, Windows(C:)/Wolverine Studios/DDSPB2021

The game then closes after clicking OK on these error messages.

Have you tried to uninstall and then download/reinstall again? Message seems to think it can't find a required file.

Yes, I just did a clean download and install and it's the same error message.

Suggest you submit a Support Ticket so Gary can try to determine what your problem is.

The other thing to consider is to ensure your security software not blocking the install.....

That's a good idea, but I just uninstalled and reinstalled after disabling my security software and got the same errors.
