Win Now/Rebuild Status

When I'm on the trade screen trying to make a trade, I notice that the Team Plan for the teams I'm trying to trade with says 'Win Now/Rebuilder/Playoff Hopeful/Unsure."

Is this something that I can set for my team or does this come from the Owner? Also where can I locate what my team is set to, if that's even possible?

I don't believe there is an in-game option that allows you to manually change your team's Team Plan designation , but you may have an effect on the designation your team receives from the game. Your teams designation may be affected by the expectations you set for your team during your conversations with the owner in the offseason. Also, there may be an algorithm in place within the game that formulates your team's designation based on a variety of factors (last season's record, overall team star ratings. amount of superstar caliber players, etc). Yet, this is all speculation on my part. Maybe Gary can give you some more insights...

It's only for the benefit of you in trying to understand what other team's state of mind might be. Your status is whatever you feel like doing with your team
