Historical Database?

I feel dumb for asking this, but I can't seem to find it. I played the series from 3 to either '17 or '18, but stopped since I felt like I wasn't seeing enough improvement. I tried the demo for '21, and think I like it enough to pull the trigger. However, I wanted to look at the historical rosters.

And of course that's the thing. I'm familiar with the process of downloading the historical file from this forum to use them, but the latest one I could find was in the DDSPB '19 mods which is a different file type. I see there is one already in the game files for 2021, but my historical option is greyed out so I imagine it's not a true historical database.

Any help would be appreciated.

The historical replay option is not available in the demo - it comes built into the full purchased version though so there is nothing to download
