Can't advance past October 1 in second season

When I hit "Advance", the program comes back finished, but still on October 1 (did this many times). I am sure this is me and not the program. Any ideas?

The game should not even end up on October 1. Is it possible you double clicked the advance button really fast or something on the prior day? If you send the files into www.wolverinestudios.com/support I can advance the game to the next date
