I just got this game and I cant link my ddscb league to this game. I tried both ways: Where you chose the link option at the start, and the file import. I am able to do both but when I do it, it shows' the "processing this moment will take a few moments" or something screen but it takes much more than a few moments. I spent 30 minutes sitting infront off my pc, touching the mouse every couple minutes so it doesn't fall asleep for about half an hour before I quit. What do I do because I don't wanna do it any other way.

First you have to make sure you have updated to the latest versions of both games - thats 8.20 on CB20 and 10.5 on PB21. Then in your CB20 saves folder there is a DDSCBlink.dat file - delete that, open your CB20 league, save it to regenerate that file and then the link should work

Does this mean that I can't link CB21 with PB21? I purchased both games for this very reason, I never even thought that I would have to have an older version of the game to link with the newer version. Had I known this I would have bought PB21 and CB20.

PB21 and CB21 will link.

Yeah absolutely CB21 and PB21 will link - the link feature was added way after launch to CB20 to test the concept with PB21 but the same functionality exists for sure in CB21

deleted the .dat file, loaded CBB back up and saved, didn't not generate a new file .... simmed a week, saved, did not generate a new file

looking like I will have to restart the college game since it isn't regenerating the .dat file Gary said to delete .... hope this doesn't happen with every update

after playing CBB for an hour and closing the game out the .dat file finally appeared but my PBB game has now been hung up on the screen bringing in the draft class for 20 minutes ... both games are the latest version but both leagues were started with previous versions.... it is really going to suck if you can't link the games and use the draft classes .... the games would then be unplayable for me
