Game Freezing/Could be my Issue

So I've noticed that when I keep the game open for long periods of time (I work from home and have it playing out games in the back ground) the game will freeze and I either have to restart the game or restart my computer all together. Any one else have this issue or am I just crazy to have the game open for that long?
