DDS:PB21 Running Slow

I have un-installed and re-installed and this game is still running very slow. I have DDS:PF20 installed and it runs great! Any ideas as to how to get the Basketball game to run faster?

What exactly is running slow? I mean if you're talking about the time to sim a season there are only 256 football games in a season compared to 1200+ in a basketball season and that's not even counting the d-league games so it will take much longer to play out a season in basketball
