Getting Coach to Follow Matrix

Hi, new to DDS. I have been playing a save for about a season and in my matrix, i have my two best players going 38 minutes a night, but they've only averaged around 30 mpg over the season. How can I get the coach to follow my matrix more rigidly?

Do you have the subout energy rate set low enough at say 60? If it is higher they will subbed out earlier.
